Le gen\u00e9vrier Old Gold a un feuillage jaune attrayant qui devient dor\u00e9 au printemps. Les feuilles en forme d’\u00e9cailles sont tr\u00e8s ornementales et deviennent vertes \u00e0 l’automne. Les fleurs et les fruits n’ont pas de valeur ornamental.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Le gen\u00e9vrier Old Gold est un arbuste \u00e0 feuilles persistantes \u00e0 plusieurs tiges dont le port s’accroche au sol. Il conf\u00e8re \u00e0 la composition du paysage une texture extr\u00eamement fine et d\u00e9licate qu’il convient d’utiliser \u00e0 bon escient.<\/p>\n

Il s’agit d’un arbuste qui n\u00e9cessite relativement peu d’entretien et qu’il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de tailler \u00e0 la fin de l’hiver, une fois que les menaces de froid extr\u00eame sont pass\u00e9es. Les cerfs ne s’int\u00e9ressent pas particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 cette plante et la laissent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement tranquille au profit de g\u00e2teries plus savoureuses. Planter et cultiver<\/div>\n

Le gen\u00e9vrier Old Gold atteindra une hauteur d’environ 3 pieds \u00e0 maturit\u00e9, avec un \u00e9talement de 4 pieds. Il a tendance \u00e0 s’\u00e9toffer jusqu’au sol et n’a donc pas n\u00e9cessairement besoin de plantes en fa\u00e7ade. Sa croissance est lente et, dans des conditions id\u00e9ales, il peut vivre environ 30 ans.<\/p>\n

Cet arbuste ne doit \u00eatre cultiv\u00e9 qu’en plein soleil. Il s’adapte tr\u00e8s bien aux conditions de croissance s\u00e8ches et humides, mais ne tol\u00e8re pas l’eau stagnante. Elle ne s’int\u00e9resse pas au type de sol ou au pH. Elle est tr\u00e8s tol\u00e9rante \u00e0 la pollution urbaine et prosp\u00e8re m\u00eame dans les centres-villes. Cette vari\u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8re est un hybride intersp\u00e9cifique.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
