Attribut Ornamental<\/div>\n

L’\u00e9rable rouge du cr\u00e9puscule pr\u00e9sente de belles grappes de fleurs rouges le long des branches au d\u00e9but du printemps, avant les feuilles. Le feuillage est vert et devient rouge au printemps. Les feuilles lob\u00e9es prennent une couleur rouge remarquable \u00e0 l’automne. Le fruit n’a pas d’importance ornementale. L’\u00e9corce argent\u00e9e sillonn\u00e9e et les branches rouge brique ajoutent une dimension int\u00e9ressante au paysage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Attributes de paysagement<\/div>\n

L’\u00e9rable rouge du cr\u00e9puscule est un arbre \u00e0 feuilles caduques avec une forme pyramidale distinctive et raffin\u00e9e. Sa texture moyenne se fond dans le paysage, mais peut \u00eatre \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e par un ou deux arbres ou arbustes plus fins ou plus grossiers pour une composition efficace.<\/p>\n

C’est un arbre qui demande relativement peu d’entretien et qui ne doit \u00eatre taill\u00e9 qu’en \u00e9t\u00e9, apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9veloppement complet des feuilles, car il risque de \u00ab\u00a0saigner\u00a0\u00bb de la s\u00e8ve s’il est taill\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin de l’hiver ou au d\u00e9but du printemps. Sans aucune charateristique negative significante.<\/p>\n

Plantation et Croissance<\/div>\n

L’\u00e9rable rouge du coucher du soleil atteindra une hauteur d’environ 50 pieds \u00e0 maturit\u00e9, avec un \u00e9talement de 40 pieds. Son houppier est haut, avec une hauteur typique de 7 pieds \u00e0 partir du sol, et il ne doit pas \u00eatre plant\u00e9 sous des lignes \u00e9lectriques. \u00c0 mesure qu’il m\u00fbrit, les branches inf\u00e9rieures de cet arbre peuvent \u00eatre strat\u00e9giquement enlev\u00e9es pour cr\u00e9er une canop\u00e9e suffisamment haute pour permettre une circulation humaine sans entrave en dessous. Il pousse \u00e0 un rythme moyen et, dans des conditions id\u00e9ales, il peut vivre 80 ans ou plus.<\/p>\n

Cet arbre ne doit \u00eatre cultiv\u00e9 qu’en plein soleil. Elle est assez adaptable, pr\u00e9f\u00e9rant pousser dans des conditions moyennes \u00e0 humides, et tol\u00e8re m\u00eame un peu d’eau stagnante. Il n’est pas sensible au type de sol, mais a une nette pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour les sols acides et est sujet \u00e0 la chlorose (jaunissement) des feuilles dans les sols alcalins. Il tol\u00e8re assez bien la pollution urbaine. Un selection Nord Americaine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
