L’\u00e9rable \u00e0 sucre Newton Sentry a un feuillage vert pendant toute la saison. Les feuilles lob\u00e9es prennent des teintes exceptionnelles d’or, d’orange et de rouge \u00e0 l’automne. Les fleurs et les fruits n’ont pas de valeur ornamental.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

L’\u00e9rable \u00e0 sucre Newton Sentry est un arbre \u00e0 feuilles caduques dense avec une forte t\u00eate centrale et un port \u00e9troitement dress\u00e9 et colonnaire. Sa texture moyenne se fond dans le paysage, mais peut \u00eatre \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e par un ou deux arbres ou arbustes plus fins ou plus grossiers pour une composition efficace.<\/p>\n

C’est un arbre qui demande relativement peu d’entretien et qui ne devrait pas n\u00e9cessiter beaucoup de taille, sauf en cas de n\u00e9cessit\u00e9, par exemple pour \u00e9liminer le d\u00e9p\u00e9rissement. Sans aucune charateristique negative significante.<\/p>\n

Plantation et Croissance<\/div>\n

L’\u00e9rable \u00e0 sucre Newton Sentry atteindra une hauteur d’environ 50 pieds \u00e0 maturit\u00e9, avec un \u00e9talement de 15 pieds. Le feuillage est haut, avec une hauteur typique de 6 pieds \u00e0 partir du sol, et ne doit pas \u00eatre plant\u00e9 sous des lignes \u00e9lectriques. \u00c0 mesure qu’il m\u00fbrit, les branches inf\u00e9rieures de cet arbre peuvent \u00eatre strat\u00e9giquement enlev\u00e9es pour cr\u00e9er une canop\u00e9e suffisamment haute pour permettre une circulation humaine sans entrave en dessous. Il pousse lentement et, dans des conditions id\u00e9ales, on peut s’attendre \u00e0 ce qu’il vive jusqu’\u00e0 l’\u00e2ge m\u00fbr de 100 ans ou plus ; consid\u00e9rez-le comme un arbre patrimonial pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures !<\/p>\n

Cet arbre ne doit \u00eatre cultiv\u00e9 qu’en plein soleil. Preferables dans un endroit dont le sol est humide. Elle n’est pas sensible au pH du sol, mais pousse mieux dans les sols riches. Il tol\u00e8re assez bien la pollution urbaine. Un selection Nord Americaine.<\/p>\n
