L’\u00e9rable rouge de Brandywine a un feuillage vert pendant toute la saison. Les feuilles lob\u00e9es prennent une couleur rouge remarquable \u00e0 l’automne. Les fleurs et les fruits n’ont pas de valeur ornamental. L’\u00e9corce grise sillonn\u00e9e et les branches rouge brique ajoutent une dimension int\u00e9ressante au paysage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

L’\u00e9rable rouge de Brandywine est un arbre \u00e0 feuilles caduques dense et de forme ovale. Sa texture moyenne se fond dans le paysage, mais peut \u00eatre \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e par un ou deux arbres ou arbustes plus fins ou plus grossiers pour une composition efficace.<\/p>\n

C’est un arbre qui demande relativement peu d’entretien et qui ne doit \u00eatre taill\u00e9 qu’en \u00e9t\u00e9, apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9veloppement complet des feuilles, car il risque de \u00ab\u00a0saigner\u00a0\u00bb de la s\u00e8ve s’il est taill\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin de l’hiver ou au d\u00e9but du printemps. Sans aucune charateristique negative significante.<\/p>\n

Plantation et Croissance<\/div>\n

L’\u00e9rable rouge de Brandywine atteindra une hauteur d’environ 30 pieds \u00e0 maturit\u00e9, avec un \u00e9talement de 15 pieds. Il a un couvert bas avec un d\u00e9gagement typique de 4 pieds du sol, et ne doit pas \u00eatre plant\u00e9 sous des lignes \u00e9lectriques. Il pousse \u00e0 un rythme moyen et, dans des conditions id\u00e9ales, il peut vivre 70 ans ou plus.<\/p>\n

Il pousse mieux dans un endroit ensoileiller ou mi ombre. Preferables dans un endroit dont le sol est humide. Elle n’est pas sensible au type de sol ou au pH. Elle tol\u00e8re assez bien la pollution urbaine. Un selection Nord Americaine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
